WhenNew
Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 10, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your download, installation, and use of WhenNew. By installing or using WhenNew, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
License
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use WhenNew for lawful personal or internal business purposes on devices you own or control. WhenNew is licensed, not sold, and your use is also subject to applicable Chrome and website terms.
Acceptable use
Use WhenNew only in compliance with applicable law and with the rights, permissions, contracts, and policies governing the pages and devices you inspect. Do not use it to access content you are not authorized to access, interfere with a website, or violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Informational estimates
WhenNew provides historical MSRP, depreciation, retained-value, and inflation context for informational purposes. Results depend on the available vehicle data, listing evidence, configuration, model year, and browser behavior. A result is not an appraisal, market valuation, inspection, financing offer, warranty, or guarantee of a vehicle’s condition or price.
WhenNew may show an exact price, a verified range, a partial match, or no result. You are responsible for checking the listing, configuration, source information, and any decision you make using the extension.
Third-party websites and data
Dealer sites, listing pages, vehicle information, browsers, and other third-party services remain subject to their own terms and privacy practices. WhenNew does not control or guarantee their availability, accuracy, legality, or security.
Changes, warranty, and liability
WhenNew may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the extension, browser, websites, or bundled data changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhenNew is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, business, or opportunity arising from or related to WhenNew.
Termination and contact
You may stop using WhenNew at any time by uninstalling it. Your license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limitations, will survive.
For questions about these terms, use the support contact on this site and mention WhenNew.
