This Privacy Policy explains how Fog's Horn ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you play. Fog's Horn is a minimalist lighthouse game made by Nana Annor Asante for iPhone and iPad.

Fog's Horn uses Google AdMob to display mobile ads. AdMob may collect and process certain information from your device to serve ads, measure ad performance, detect abuse, and improve advertising services.

The App Store privacy details for the ad-supported version state that coarse location, product interaction, advertising data, and device ID may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Those details also state that product interaction, advertising data, coarse location, and device ID may be collected and linked to your identity, while crash data and performance data may be collected but are not linked to your identity.

Fog's Horn does not require an account and does not ask you for a name, email address, contact list, precise location, photos, or other profile information.

Through Google AdMob, the app may collect or make available ad-related information. The exact data collected can depend on your device settings, consent choices, region, ad format, and the version of the Google Mobile Ads SDK used by the app.

• Coarse location, which may be estimated from information such as your IP address.
• Device identifiers, including advertising identifiers or other app- or developer-bounded device identifiers.
• Product interaction and usage data, such as app launches, ad views, ad interactions, and other interaction events.
• Advertising data, such as the ads shown to you and how those ads perform.
• Diagnostics, crash data, and performance data, such as SDK diagnostics, launch time, hang rate, or energy usage.

The app keeps a small amount of gameplay data — such as your settings, current run state, and best score — stored locally on your device so the game behaves consistently between sessions.

AdMob may also store ad-related preferences, identifiers, or cached information on your device as needed to provide and measure ads.

Locally stored gameplay data is used to run the game and remember your progress on your device.

Ad-related information is used to request, display, personalize where permitted, limit, measure, and improve ads; provide rewarded-ad features when available; detect fraud or abuse; and troubleshoot ad delivery and app performance.

We do not operate a separate account system or sell account/profile information. To provide ads, Fog's Horn shares or makes available ad-related information with Google AdMob and its advertising partners.

Google and its partners may process that information under their own privacy practices for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement.

You can manage app tracking permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings. If tracking permission is requested and you decline it, AdMob may still show ads, but ad personalization and measurement may be limited.

You can also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by your device, Apple, and Google. If a rewarded ad is optional, you may choose not to watch it.

Gameplay data is kept on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can clear it by deleting the app, which removes the locally stored game data from your device.

AdMob data is retained by Google according to Google's policies and the settings that apply to your device, region, and consent choices.

Gameplay data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode and built-in encryption. Ad-related data transmitted to AdMob is handled by Google and its partners using their own security practices.

Fog's Horn is rated 4+ and is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly ask children for contact information, account credentials, or profile details.

Because the app uses AdMob, ad-related data may be processed as described above. Parents and guardians can manage tracking and advertising controls through device settings.

Downloading, updating, and any future purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple may collect information related to your App Store activity under Apple's own privacy policy, independently of Fog's Horn.
